DHARAMSHALA: WINTER CAPITAL OF HIMACHAL PRADESH

Known for its bounteous flora and fauna, Dharamshala is a city of which acts as a refugee from our mundane lives.  Dharamshala is also known as the Winter Capital of Himachal Pradesh. Dharamshala is surrounded by dense forests. Located at the foothills Garhwal Himalayan Range, Mussoorie is a hill station that every traveler dreams of.  Mussoorie is known as the queen of hills.  It is surrounded by the spectacular views of both the Himalayan and the Shivalik ranges. It is situated at a height of 2,005 meters. Owing to this height, the weather is always pleasant, except when the extreme snowfall disrupts the daily life. However, it is a must visit place of the northern India for Mussoorie is called the Queen of Hills. Mussoorie is also an adventurous spot which is a cherry on the cake. The perfect time to visit the queen of hills is the September to January when the snowfall pleases every eye and soul. There’s a reason it is called the Queen of Hills.

VARANASI: GODLY CITY OF NORTH INDIA

Also known as Banaras and Kashi, Varanasi is a perfect place to travel if someone wants to see the religious India because it is where the God resides. It is one of the most visited places by the pilgrims and devotees for it believed that the God reside here. The city is located at banks of River Ganga- another Hindu goddess which reside here. It is also a major site of Hindu pilgrimage. Every year it attracts many visitors from around the world to have a glimpse of the ancient India. The perfect time to visit the city is around the Hindu festivals like Dussehra and Diwali, i.e. around October and November.

KEDARNATH: THE DIVINE SNOW OF NORTH INDIA

Famous for the Kedarnath Temple, the town of Kedarnath is regarded as the home of Lord Shiva.  The temple is an attraction to not only the pilgrims and the devotees, but also the trekkers and adventurers.  The divine snow of the  Kedarnath form the emblem of Lord Shiva. The temple cannot be reached by the road. So, it has to be covered by a trek of 22 KM uphill from Gaurikund. The divine snow of the Kedarnath temple is worth a watch.  Kedarnath has in its buildings the myth of Mahabharat. The suitable time to visit the  Kedarnath is April and November, as it is during this period that the  Kedarnath is opened for the public.
